DO ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN, BY ALL THE MEANS YOU CAN, IN ALL THE PLACES YOU CAN, AT ALL THE TIMES YOU CAN, TO ALL THE PEOPLE YOU CAN, AS LONG AS YOU EVER CAN. - John Wesley
Epworth Old RectoryThis elegant Queen Anne house was the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley. Built in 1709 to replace the previous rectory, which was destroyed by fire. Aged only 6 at the time John Wesley had to be dramatically rescued - as a result he became known as ‘the brand plucked from the burning’. |
